The UFO Garden

Posted by surferboi in garden

Well folks, it’s been a long time since I have graced the intertubes with my nutty missives, but as you can see, technology has to take a back seat to eating. And I love love love fresh veggies. We have a crazy good crop of all sorts of alien veggies, so we decided to name our little corner of the the planet “The UFO Garden.” And I would like to introduce you to a couple of recent additions, Gabby & Gort from Glopp (thanks to my honey-bunny). Somehow Gort’s Transdimensional GPS blew a flux capacitor and they crashed landed knee deep in my strawberry patch. And Gabby is none too pleased, I can tell ya, probably tapping her feet under the mudd. Well, if the fusion reactor leaks and causes my berries to grow up to the point of eating us in a twisted turn of fate, somebody come by and water, and be sure to enjoy what’s left of the goodies.

I am excited for you. I see you are truely have a time of your life garding this year. My opinion would be to go for it. Let you mind take you into where ever the Lord have in his plan for you. You went for it before. Do it again, and I will even try doing a square foot garden.

  3. Thanks so much for the lovely comments! As for the significance of “UFO” you will have to wait for that :) It’s a good story :D

  4. OK. Absolutely *Love* the half-buried in the dirt UFO crash site with the extrasterrestrial gnomes expressing their own brnad of transgalactic expletives over the situation. Best new theme for garden gnomes I’ve seen yet. Would not be surprised if they’re made by some new Mexico-based company with some kind of name like “Roswell Outfitters” or “Area 51 Gardens”. LOL
Now all I want to know is if they glow at night with an adjustable pulse. ;-)
My friends on L.I. have a 3 foot tall electric alien manikin they set up for part of their Halloween display.
    Think about it.
